The Writing Team exists to honor God through the written word. The Writing Team welcomes all kinds of creative writers. This is a place for poets, fiction writers, journalists, technical writers, and anyone with a gift for communicating through ink and paper!

If you would like to get involved with the Writing Team,please complete the Arts Interest Form. Our Pastor of Arts and Communications, Brian Cropp, will contact you to arrange for your audition time and answer any questions that you may have. What kind of writing does the team do?
The writing team welcomes all kinds of writers and is open to all genres of writing. This is a place for poets, fiction writers, journalists, technical writers, and anyone with a gift for communicating through ink and paper!

How much will I get to write for the team?
We aim to strike a balance between commitment to the team and the other responsibilities in our lives. Service should be a joy, so you should expect to contribute to a specific project at least once a semester, and we are committed to working with you to making sure your work comes to fruition.

Do I have to be a member of Hope Church to join?
You do not have to be a member in order to join. However, by joining the Arts Ministry, it is our hope that you will decide to make the commitment to go through our membership classes this season and officially join the membership of Hope Church.
