2. What does it mean if I sign up?

   The launch meeting is an opportunity to “explore the group.” Exploring the group means that you can meet the others in your group and find out what the group is all about. At this launch meeting you will be able to join the group. Members agree, for one semester, to make attending the group a priority; to participate in a fun event; and to explore Hope during the semester in a few simple ways that will be explained at the launch meeting. We’ve found that these agreements are essential to the success of a group.

3. Which group is right for me?

   • Men & Women — These groups are open to all adults and are a great way to make friends while growing in your faith and having fun together.
   • Men’s Groups & Women’s Groups — These groups are a great way to connect and make friends.
   • Married Couples — These groups are open to married couples and are a great way to connect with your spouse and other couples in the area.
   • Students — These groups are specifically for high school and middle school students to grow spiritually and strengthen friendships.

4. Is there childcare?

   Each group will arrange childcare for those who need it. Parents should be prepared to pay a reasonable fee to cover the cost.

5. Where will my group be meeting?

   The catalog displays the general area where a group will meet. After you register, your leader will contact you with an exact location.

6. How often do the groups meet?

   They meet weekly unless there is a reason to skip a week.

7. Can I sign up for a Growth Group any time during the semester?

   Sign-ups occur for 4-5 weeks before each semester starts in (roughly) January, May and September. New group members will not be able to join a group after it closes but the next semester is always just around the corner!

8. When do Growth Groups begin and end?

   A Growth Group lasts for one semester (10-12 weeks in the Spring, less in Summer and Fall). Fall Growth Group sign-ups begin on August 28 and groups kick-off the week of September 26.

9. Will the same Growth Groups be offered each semester?

   Each semester has a slightly different focus. Each Fall we offer a single church-wide curriculum that coincides with the Weekend teaching. The Spring is a little longer and allows for a wider variety of options. The Summer is slightly shorter, so the topics change to accommodate that.
