Boys and
girls learn
differently
Recent findings in education research are making their way out into the news. The news reinforces what parents have known for a long time that boys and girls really are different! For example: boys learn best through physical activity whereas girls learn best in a more social environment. When boys and girls are put into learning environments that suit their learning styles, they easily connect to instruction, boredom disappears, and retention increases.
Why is this kids' program different?
Hope Church uses a gender-specific
curriculum for elementary kids called
NRG.
Developed at Hope, the curriculum is packed
with fun, relates to kids
in ways that make sense to
them, and gives them practical
insight on how to deal with situations
they face each day.
