- Friendly people - they will help you find your way around but won't invade your space
- Music you can relate to
- Messages that make sense - real help for everyday life
- An amazing kids program - you can relax knowing they're safe and having a blast
FAQ
You probably have questions about what to expect as you
check out church for the first time.
It's okay. Go ahead. Ask. Click. Look. We
want to remove the "guess work" and
surprises so you can relax, know what to expect, and
enjoy your time with us.
- What do I wear?
Come as you are. Whether you feel most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, shorts, a skirt, or slacks, at Hope you will find people like you.
- Do I need to bring a Bible?
- You only need to bring yourself! You don't need to bring a Bible to come to church. Anytime the Bible is referenced in the service you will be able to see the verses on the large screens near the stage. They are also printed on a half-page outline of the message. You can take the page with you in case you would like to read the verses again in a Bible at home.
- If you would like a Bible, stop by the Fresh Start table and pick one up for free!
- How long does church last?
Services start on time and last one hour. You may enjoy taking some additional time to check out the imaginative building and meet friendly people. Or, you might just want to grab a cup of coffee, tea, or orange juice and relax on one of the park benches.
- What is your music like?
- Enjoy a myriad of sounds! Rock. Brass-infused Rock. "Unplugged" Acoustic.
- Each Sunday service starts with some great music. We sing to show God how grateful we are to Him and to ask Him for help in our daily lives. It's like an engaging concert where most people sing along.
- You are invited to sing with us (words are provided on screens), but you are also welcome to just sit back and enjoy the music.
- What about my kids?
- We strive to provide safe, high-quality programs that kids love. While you relax in the worship service, your kids will have a blast. In fact, many kids have so much fun they are somewhat reluctant to leave. For children ages birth to 5th grade, check out the Kid's Ministry link for more details.
- Jr High and High school and College age students also have opportunities to connect through programs available during the services.
- The Mommy and Me Nursery is available for nursing moms or moms who need to take care of an infant's needs. The worship service is broadcast in the room, so you won't miss a thing!
- Baby Changing Areas are located in the Mommy & Me Nursery (for women only) on the west side of the building and the Family Restroom on the east side.
- Will I be singled out?
- Everyone at Hope is greeted and treated the same. You'll get a nametag when you come in, but everyone does, so you won't stand out. We want to welcome you as our guest, but we don't want to invade your space.
- During the service, you'll be invited to fill out a Connections Card (just like our members do each week). You will never be made to stand up in a service or be singled out.
- You will also have the opportunity after the service to pick up a gift from us to you. You will find gift boxes in the Connections Plaza on Main Street.
