Welcome to Hope Kids’ Ministry!
The Hope Kids’ Ministry (birth through 5th grade) focuses on interactive learning that teaches children how to effectively deal with their thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors. We are all about kids having fun, developing their potential, and learning to walk with the God who loves them.
We place a high value on children and their families and want Hope Church to be your favorite Sunday morning destination! Our goal is to team with you to lay down a spiritual foundation in your child’s life, which in God’s timing, will lead your child into a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ.
Here’s what to expect when visiting the Hope Kids’ Ministry for the first time:
First, after you get your nametag form our Welcome Team, continue under the WELCOME sign leading into our Kids’ Ministry area. There one of our volunteers will meet your family, check in your child(ren) into our system, and then lead them to their age-appropriate room, where (s)he will be greeted by friendly leaders who have been carefully screened and have received specialized training in working with children.
Upon checking-in the first time, we will ask the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
Before service: You can check-in your child(ren) at the kiosks located at either the Nursery (near the Main Entrance) or the in Kids’ Area (just past the large WELCOME sign). After finding your child’s name on the screen, you and your child will be given nametags with matching security codes. These codes are exclusive to your family and change each visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the other half.
After Service: After the church service is over, you will return to your child’s room and show your half of the name tag in order for your child to be released back to you. You can relax, knowing your child is safely experiencing a morning of fun activity and age-appropriate Biblical teaching, while you enjoy the service!
We want you to relax at Hope Church, knowing your child is safely experiencing a morning of fun activity and age-appropriate Biblical teaching, while you enjoy the service! We also have a Wiggle Room available for families who don’t wish to place their child(ren) in our Kids’ Ministry rooms. This room is reserved so parents can still enjoy the service personally taking care of their child in a more private and quiet environment.
