Brian Cropp - Associate Pastor of Hope Church

Brian Cropp serves as Associate Pastor of Sunday Experience and Communications at Hope Church in Fort Worth, Texas. He began attending Hope Church in 2001 and joined the church staff in 2006, serving in a variety of roles in both Communications and Worship Arts.

Brian is passionate about helping people see how the truth of Scripture connects with everyday life. Drawing from his background in theater, worship, communication, and writing, he often uses stories to help biblical truth become understandable and memorable. His desire is to see the “lights come on”—for people to recognize that the truths of Scripture are really true, that they matter for the way we live, and that God deserves every ounce of our devotion.

At Hope Church, Brian oversees the Sunday experience, from the church’s hospitality teams through its worship services. He also leads Hope’s communications efforts, helping people outside the church discover Hope Church through its website, social media, digital content, and other external communication channels.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Master of Arts from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a graduate of The Antioch Project, the ministry training program of the 17:6 Network, where he now serves as a mentor.

Brian has lived in Fort Worth since 1995 and has been married to his wife, Glenda, since 2001. They have four children. Outside of ministry, Brian enjoys writing novels and exploring how a good story can illuminate truth, whether from a church platform, on a screen, or on the page.
